My name is Sławomir Zadrożny and I have been working as a professional graphic designer for 9 years. I worked in two publishing houses e.g.: Software-Wydawnictwo Sp. z o.o. and Bachurski MediaCorp. Sp. z o.o. I have also been working for many companies as a freelancer.

 

Designing and creating magazines is my main specialization. I have worked on magazines targeted to programmers (Open Source, Linux, security and programming languages), graphic designers ( 2D -.PSD and 3D-3DFX, GoMotion) as well as magazines devoted to financial matter (Gazeta Finansowa, Gazeta Rachunkowa) and electronic gadgets (EGX).

 

The magazines I had worked on were released in 7 languages. I have also worked on brochures, business cards, CD/DVD covers, etc...
I had worked as an Art Director in DTP department at Software-Wydawnictwo Sp. z o.o. I had supervised DTP team (6-7 people). I was responsible for hiring new employees and their tasks, designing layouts for new magazines and checking all materials ready for printing.

 

Thanks to the DTP Team, I have supervised, Software-Wydawnictwo released new titles distributed on polish and foreign markets.

 

DESIGNING
Art projects destined for printing (magazines, large size advertising posters, billboards, leaflets, stickers, corporated ID) and for websites (static and animation banners, layout for Spanish portal targeted to Procodigo programmers).

 

DTP
Editing and prepress materials for printing houses in 7 languages (Polish, English, Italian, Spanish, German, French, Czech).

 

FLASH
I create animated banners as well as websites elements.
